DIY Weave Sweatshirt

Hi fairies!

Well I was looking for something to put on my blog and I came across this awesome idea. You just have to turn your sweater inside out and make little holes in the collar area. Then tie the ends and start making the weaving effect. When you're done tie all the loose ends again and turn your shirt inside out again. See more details on the website The Forge HERE.

Pretty simple and cheap. And it looks really cute in the end :)

Estava à procura de coisinahs para o blog quando encontrei esta óptima ideia. Só têm de virar a vossa camisola ao contrário e fazer alguns cortes na zona do decote. Depois atam as pontas soltas e começam a dar aquele efeito como nos cestos. Atam as pontas que restarem e viram a camisola para a posição normal. Fall Casual :)

Hi cuty pies!

We're already in Fall, and I really love the color of the leaves that lye on the ground, I got my inspiration for this outfit in that. I chose a yellowish jumper (37€) with leather leggings (35€) and wedge sneakers (48€) with a blue floral print. Fall is probably my favorite season, I love the colors of nature at this time and everything looks a little different, I don't know how to explain. I have a lace headband that would look great with this look :)

Olá pessoal!

Já estamos no Outono e eu adoro a cor das folhas que caem, foi nisso que me inspirei para este look. Escolhi um camisola mostarda (37€) com leggings de cabedal (35€) e ténis de cunha (48€) com um padrão floral azul. O Outono é provavelmente a minha estação do ano favorita, adoro as cores da natureza nesta altura e tudo parece diferente aos meus olhos, não sei explicar. Tenho uma bandolete de renda que ficava lindamente com este conjunto :)

Let's dance!

 

 

Hi beautiful!

 

I spent my whole day yesterday dancing with my 6 year-old niece (BTW, "Just Dance" games rocks!) and I thought I would be exhauted after that, but the truth is that I just wanted to hit the streets and dance like there's no tomorrow!
This is really weird for me because I hate going out, I'm like a 78 year-old woman trap in the body of a 19 year-old girl.
I was so excited that I started to imagine my outfit and voilà, here's the final product. I chose a plaid lace shirt, denim shorts and a pair of red Converse. I know, for going out you have to have heels, but I was going to dance all night so I think they're perfect for that and they look awesome with the whole outfit.

Now the question:
. Have you ever tried "Just Dance" or any dance games before? If yes, what do you think about it?

Olá a todos!

Ontem o meu dia foi passado a dançar com a minha sobrinha de 6 anos (os jogos "Just Dance" são o máximo!)  e pensei que iria ficar exausta depois de tanta dança, mas a verdade é que só queria sair e dançar como se não houvesse amanhã!
Isto é algo muito estranho para mim pois odeio sair à noite, sou como uma velha de 78 anos presa no corpo de uma raparigade 19 anos.
Estava tão contente que comecei a imaginar um look e voilà, aqui está o resultado. Escolhi uma camisa aos quadrados e com renda, calções de ganga e um par de Converse vermelhos. Eu sei, para sair tem que se ter saltos, mas como ia passar o tempo todo a dançar acho que são perfeitos e ficam bem com o conjunto.

Agora a pergunta:
. Já experimentaram algum "Just Dance" ou qualquer outro jogo de dança? Se sim, o que acharam?

I named it "Clash Chic" because the prints clash with one another, but they match pretty well!

This is a great outfit for going to a gig. I don't think the bracelets aren't the most appropriate, but my 6 year-old niece love these one. I think they're good :) the whole look looks really comfy, so you can jump and do all the crazy things in a gig.

Paris Look: J'adore ♥

Hey posh people!

 

I'm really in love with this look, it's so chic and sober!! You can use this outfit with a pair of black tights (another must for me) to go out at night to some place fancy with your loved one or to go to a gallery event or something. But make sure to use bold makeup or else you won't look as good as you can ;) The red clutch gives the splash of color that the outfit need. You can use any color you want, but I think red looks always good, it's a classic!

Podem usar este conjunto com collants pretos (outra peça indispensável para mim) para irem sair à noite até a um sítio jeitoso com o amado ou então para ir a um daqueles eventos importantes ou assim. Mas façam questão de usar maquilhagem arrojada ou então não ficarão tão bem como poderiam ;) A clutch vermelha dá aquele apontamento de cor que o look precisa. Podem usar da cor que quiserem, mas acho que não há como falhar com o vermelho, é um clássico!

C&A Shopping Haul!

Well, I love C&A, they have great pieces at really affordable prices!

They're mostly located in Europe, but they also have stores in Brazil, Mexico and China.

If you live in one of these places and you never went there, please go check it out! :)

I wanted to show my latest items that bought in there (I have many other pieces so I just selected my latest purchases).

Story of my dress: I was wandering in the store when I saw something different in a rack of clothing. I went there and there it was! It was sale season, so this was the last one. When I saw that the dress was an XS I was really sad, because I thought it didn't fit me. Turns out I was wrong, it fits me like a glove. And the price? Before it was 9€, but I bought it with 50% discount so I only paid 4,50€!! Love my dress so much *

Story of my coat: I've been looking for a coat of this material for a while now. One day my sister bought a jacket and I simply fell in love with it! A few days later I went to the store, but I wasn't really hopeful, because I thought all the coat must be sold out by now. Well, I was wrong once again :) They have this coat in the children section, from age 7 to 14+ . I bought the size 11-12 years and it fits me really well. On Winter I will definitely post pictures of me pulling off my new coat ;) It only cost me 15€! A great deal, in my opinion *

História do meu vestido: Estava a vaguear pela loja quando vi algo fora do sítio num expositor. Fui até lá para ver e ali estava ele! Estava na altura dos saldos, por isso só restava aquele. Quando vi que era um XS fiquei triste porque pensei que não me ia servir. Não podia estar mais errada, parece que foi feita para mim. E o preço? Antes estava a 9€

História do meu casaco: Tenho estado à procura de um casaco destes já ha algum tempo. Um dia a minha irmã comprou um casaco igual e eu fiquei apaixonadíssima por ele! Uns dias depois fui à loja, mas não estava muito esperançosa pois achava que já não havia o meu número. Mais uma vez, estava errada :) Este casaco está na secção de criança e tem desde os 7 aos 14+ anos. Eu comprei o tamanho 11-12 anos e fica-me muito bem. No Inverno vou pôr aqui fotos minhas a exibir o meu casaco ;) So me custou 15€! Um óptimo negócio, na minha opinião *

Another casual look. I couldn't put any accessories, but I think a big bracelet and a silver ring would be great with this outfit. I always try to put an easy-going and effortless look to go to the grocery store or something, but I always end up doing outfits to go lunch with friends or to go to the park with your kid (if you don't have a kid, with you little brother or cousin!)

Another outfit from Polyvore. I love clothes, so I can spend hours putting outfits together, it's so much fun! :)

The site has the option to choose every piece under 50$. I did that so the outfit could be relatively affordable.

 

I put together a Summer look. Summer's almost over, but we can still enjoy the hot weather!

The short sleeve shirt is from Dorothy Perkins (36€), distressed shorts from Quiksilver (39€), Summer sandals by Charlotte Russe, brown backpack from shopko.com and the vintage sunglasses are from ebay.co.uk (9,99$).

 

It's the perfect look to go to the beach or go to hangout with your friends and family, but only by daytime!

Aqui está outro conjunto feito no Polyvore. Eu adoro roupa, portanto eu posso passar horas a combinar peças, é mesmo divertido! :)

O site tem a opção de reduzirem as peças para valores abaixo dos 50$. Fiz isso com este conjunto para que ficasse relativamente barato.

 

Decidi fazer um conjunto de Verão. Eu sei que o Verão está quase a acabar, mas ainda podemos aproveiar o calor!
