Enjoy the rainy days! (tips and recipe)

Hey beautiful!

So here in Portugal it's been raining. I don't know if it's here to stay or not, since today the weather is fine. But one thing I know it won't go away is the cold weather. BRRRRRRRRR!
It's not that good when you have to go to school or work, I know...

But for weekends, rain and cold it's probably the perfect weather for me!

You can have a big cup of hot cocoa and be wrapped in your old blanket sitting by the fireplace, listening to the rain (if you are like me, you know the sound of the rain is essential :D)
Just the simple fact you're warm in a cold day is one of the best feelings ever!

Now, I can't give you a fireplace or anything (I have a simple oil heater) but I can give you the perfect recipe for hot cocoa, it's really simple. Here we go:

HOT COCOA RECIPE (4 people):
. 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder
. 4 tablespoons of sugar
. 4 cups of milk
. 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
. Optional: marshmallows, whip cream
. Optional: you can use cornstarch if you want a thick hot cocoa

Preparation (taken from about.com):

Blend cocoa and sugar in a small bowl. In a medium saucepan, heat milk to scalding. Mix about 1/3 cup of the hot milk into the cocoa-sugar mixture, then pour cocoa mixture into hot milk in the saucepan; stir until well blended. Stir in vanilla.

Now enjoy your hot cocoa and let the laziness flow through you! And if you want to hear the rain go to http://www.rainymood.com/

Preparação (tirada do site about.com):
